Professor Adam Vogel
Adam Vogel is Professor of Speech Science in the School of Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne, Australia. He is currently an Australian Research Council Future Fellow and Humboldt Fellow at the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research, University of Tübingen, Germany. Adam holds a PhD in behavioural neuroscience from The University of Melbourne and degrees in psychology and clinical speech science from the University of Queensland, Australia.
Adam’s research lab is focussed on improving speech, language and swallowing function in people with progressive and acquired neurological conditions. He undertook his early clinical training in the neurodisability service at Great Ormond Street Hospital London and continues to work as consultant speech pathologist for the Friedreich Ataxia Clinic, and the Eastern Cognitive Disorders Clinic, Melbourne and the National Ataxia Telangiectasia Clinic in Brisbane Australia.
Adam is the Chief Science Officer of Redenlab Inc, a neuroscience technology company using speech and language biometrics to enhance decision making in clinical trials. Redenlab work with pharmaceutical companies across 25 countries and 200+ sites globally.
